Cut sausage in half, lengthwise, then chop into ½" pieces. Cook in a frying pan for about 15 min., turning frequently to slightly brown. Preheat oven to 350°.

Place potatoes in a 2 qt. casserole. Add cooked meat and gently toss.

Mix all remaining ingredients except shredded cheddar and paprika. Stir in saucepan over medium heat until warm, melted and smooth, stirring constantly.

Pour cheese sauce over potatoes and meat. Sprinkle shredded sharp cheddar cheese on top, then sprinkle evenly with paprika.

Bake 45 min. or until potatoes are done.
