Chop cranberries in food processor or by hand.

Food processor my chop too fine, but you do want them chopped small.

Chop green onion, cilantro and jalapeño (discarding seeds and membrane) into small pieces.

Mix all ingredients except cream cheese in a medium bowl.

Cover and refrigerate for at least 4 hours to let the sugar break up the bitter taste of the berries.

Spread cream cheese in a pie plate and cover with cranberry mixture, spreading evenly.

Serve with Ritz crackers, Wheat Thins or tortilla chips.
