Preheat oven to 350.

Add the ground beef to a skillet and cook over medium heat, sautéing until completely browned. Drain excess grease. Mix in the minced garlic and sauté for 30 more seconds.

Add the taco seasoning, cream cheese and salsa. Stir until cream cheese is completely melted. Let the meat mixture cool.

Stuff the cooked shells with meat mixture and place into a well greased 9X13" baking dish.

Sprinkle the shredded cheddar cheese over top and sprinkle the chopped onions over all. Bake in preheated oven for 15-20 minutes.
