Rinse and sort beans for any pebbles. Add the rinsed beans, onion powder, salt and pepper and ham to the crock pot. Add water, cover and cook 6-8 hours, until beans are tender. (Check at 6 hours to make sure water hasn't absorbed, leaving beans dry.) Remove ham bone and pull off meat. Add meat to crock pot and mix. Serve with cornbread.**[\ CROCK POT PORK CHOPS]
seasoned with salt & pepper 2 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
Cook bacon over medium-high heat until crispy. Remove the bacon from the pan and drain on a paper towel; store in refrigerator for later use.
Place one sliced onion at the bottom of crock pot.
Stud pork roast with cloves and season with salt and pepper.
Place roast in crock pot on top of sliced onion.
Cover with the second sliced onion and add enough water to fill crock pot to 2/3.
Cover and cook on low 8-12 hours or overnight.
Remove roast.
Remove and discard cloves, remove bone and fat as well as any water, onions and grease remaining in pot.
When meat is cool enough to handle, use a fork or your fingers to pull it apart until the entire roast is shredded.
Return pulled pork to crock pot.
Mix in the chopped onion and BBQ sauce and cover.
Heat on high for 1-3 hours or until the onions are soft.
